28 governors swearing in ceremony in Juba

The swearing in ceremony of 28 governors in Juba, South Sudan, 29 Dec 2015

March 4, 2016 (SSB)  —  I wrote an article a month ago concerning allocation of powers sharing in newly created Jonglei. Now it came as fact and this is a critical time we must stand tall as Duk county citizens and Twic east (Bor north).it is confirmed the methodology use by our close cronies is divide rule tactic used by British during colonial period.

Aguer was overrated as an angel when he was appointed by the President of the Republic of South Sudan Kiir Mayardit under no.36 /2015 decree.

Konyi and Bashir

Photo of president Bashir of Sudan, commander in chief of Sudan Army Forces and LRA Joseph Kony.

March 4, 2016 (SSB) —–  This is in response to Brig. Ahmed Khalifa Al-shami, the spokesman for the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) who denies the ‘’ official presence’’ of the fighters of the fugitive Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) in South Darfur State. That is a pure lie, LRA are present in UM Dafok, Songu, Kafiakingi and Dafak areas as reported by Fallata paramount chief Yusuf Al-Samani. The Fallata chief demanded the expulsion of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) from their grassing areas.

The Fallatas of Tulus County of South Darfur, have a right to demand the expulsion of LRA in their grassing areas because the present of LRA in their grassing areas is a threat to them and their livelihood, Pallatas are seasonal nomads who entirely depend on cattle’s benefits and move south seasonally, they migrate Southwards towards Central African Republic for grassing, especially during the beginning of the dry season annually, that is why you see them demanding immediate expulsion of LRA from those areas. LRA had been in South Darfur for the last six and half years since September 2009 until the time I am writing this piece of article.

peace for south sudan

peace for south sudan

March 4, 2016 (SSB)  —-  As the fear and anxiety of war begins to slowly evaporate-although not completely and the prospects of peace begin to appear on the horizon, South Sudanese are increasingly anticipating a bumper harvest from the dividends of soon to be realized  united and harmonious Motherland. The parties to the conflict have inked a political commitment to unconditionally constitute an all-inclusive transitional national government possibly this month of March.

A transition government will steer the country towards the elections while also focussing on the nationwide peace building, healing and reconciliation amongst the South Sudanese tribes(people).it will also solicit funds from our international community friends and development partners. There will be Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) of redundant former fighters most of whom will be child soldiers of white army to make them positively productive in their communities. It is also wise if demining is also done alongside DDR so that civilians from the areas affected by conflict are safe to return and piece up their tattered lives.

RSS joins EAC

The Republic of South Sudan has joined the East African Community (EAC), a group of nations that cooperates in the areas of trade, travel, tourism and harmonization of tax regimes and other regulations. EAC includes Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda.

March 4, 2016 (SSB)  —-  I’m happy to learn that my country has finally been admitted to the East Africa community (EAC) on this 2nd day of March, 2016 in Arusha, Tanzania. We’re part and parcel of this regional family call EAC, and we have a birth right to its membership just like we have natural and political rights to the Mother Africa Union (AU) and United Nations general Assembly (UNGA) as sovereign state. I have always wondered why it has taken EAC six good years to accept our application.

the founding fathers of RSS

The founding fathers of south sudan

March 4, 2016 (SSB)  —-  ‘’Our clan is not represented….we did not nominate him or her as a community…..Mr. XYZ should not be named a minister this time’’. These statements and many more, some very negative and demoralising are filling the air in the new Jonglei State as the government is being formed.  The insiders are doing this deliberately. It must be a hectic task for the governor. But it will act as an acid test for his leadership approach! The governor has set his goals and in a bid to realise them in the near future, he is consulting with state communities to hunt those who will help him accomplish the goals-not the status-quors who will never use any word for development!

March 4, 2016 (SSB)  —-  After constructive consultation with Warrap State, SPLM/IO Victoria Chapter and SPLM/IO Australia Mission, I decided to respond to Mr Rual’s short sighted defection to refute his misleading claims of splitting People’s Movement, and his unintellectual charges against SPLM/IO leadership, which falsely claims that the top leadership has been running movement as its own property.  I wish to assure the readers that People’s Movement cannot be divided by people who do not practice what they preach and do not understand ultimate reform agenda that the SPLM/IO and the South Sudanese are yearning for.
